Prague Czech Republic—The Czech Ice Hockey Assn announced today the hiring of James Craig as assistant coach for the Women's Senior National Team. Craig held a similar position in the early 90's. His role within the team will be primarily the establishment and implementation of the Olympic Development Team.

"I am so thrilled to be able to work with such a wonderful group of people at such a great time in the history of women's hockey" said the 49 year-old.

Craig is an experienced coach who previously worked in the AHL, WHL, BCHL and most recently has strung together consecutive gold medals with Team Alaska at the Arctic Winter Games in 2008 and 2010.
