Welcome to the web site of the Czech National Women's Teams. We hope that you enjoy learning about our players and programs. Currently the Czech National Women's Program consists of three teams—U16, U18 and Senior, or as it's referred in Czech as the "A Tym."

 

Beginning 2010 we will initiate our 2014 Development Team which will consist of our players who will be age-eligible and are projected to be possible members of our 2014 Olympic Team. We encourage those who are fans of our teams to feel free to email us if we can provide any information not available on our site.

Coming to America

31 January 2012.

In an effort to prepare for the upcoming Division 1 IIHF World Championship in Latvia, the Czech National team-staffed HC Slavia Praha is coming America to play in the Ralph Vanetti Sr. Memoral Tournament.

 

The team will arrive in Boston on 2/27 and travel for 7 days taking on three JWHL teams (Boston Shamrocks, North American Hockey Academy, and the National Sports Academy). Additionaly the team will play a game with the CWHL powerhouse Boston Blades and ECAC West DIII SUNY Potsdam University.

 

The tournament will be played to celibrate Mr. Vanetti and those in the world who support and promote women's ice hockey.

 

The schedule is still being finalized and will be posted here in the next week.

Czechs Take Gold – Move Closer to Olympic Dream

Caen, France—The Czech National Women's Ice Hockey Team swept the competition in the IIHF Division II World Championships.

With a stingy defense, and outstanding goaltending, the team gave up a mere 2 goals during the 4-game tournament. The 1st place finish elivates the Czech squad to IIHF Division I for the 2012 World Championships.
